Privacy policy

Last updated: May 2026. This policy describes how PublishGuard handles information when you use our URL monitoring service.

What we collect

Account email for sign-in, monitored URLs you add, probe results (HTTP status, latency, and optional content checks), incident history, and notification settings such as Slack webhooks. Payment details are processed by Stripe; we store subscription status, not full card numbers.

How we use it

We run scheduled and manual HTTP probes from the public internet, record outcomes, send alerts you configure, and operate the product. We do not sell your monitoring data. Aggregated operational metrics may be used to improve reliability.

Retention and deletion

You can export account data and request deletion from Account settings. Deletion schedules removal of your project, URLs, and incident history after any billing grace period completes.
